Climate Guidance Development
With the effects of climate change becoming ever more devastating across the globe, it is important that effective guidance is available to promote a sustainable future.
Guidance enables practitioners to have a basis upon which they have due diligence to consider aspects when carrying out assessments and for regulators to benchmark assessments against. It is therefore important that guidance is available and reliable. Without guidance, there is a risk of poorly considered assessments being produced, or none at all, which has historically been the case.
The Climate Consultants have experience of producing guidance documents on behalf of professional institutions.
Current climate related guidance lacks detailed considerations and does little to actively quantify and reduce emissions.
The Climate Consultants are actively working on several new guidance documents to help push forward real change in the industry with the intention to help minimise the UK’s impact on the climate system.
TCC have produced guidance on behalf of many local authorities and are keen to push forward new detailed guidance across the UK.
